At our school, we value a calm and respectful learning environment. By enrolling, parents and learners
agree to follow our Code of Conduct. Serious issues like bullying, racism, violence, substance abuse, or re-
peated disciplinary hearings may lead to removal.
We believe discipline is a tool to guide learners in applying strong biblical values to their daily lives. Rooted in positive relationships, all disciplinary measures involve open communication with parents and include support through counselling. Teachers aim to correct with care, keeping records where needed and addressing misconduct in a constructive and accountable manner.
Together, we create a safe space where every learner can thrive.
ABSENTEEISM
Regular attendance is essential to ensure academic success and a positive learning environment. Absenteeism places strain on the learner, teacher, and classmates, and should be kept to a minimum. Absences without prior permission or a valid doctor’s note may result in formal warnings.
CELL PHONE POLICY
We understand that staying connected is important. If a learner needs to bring a phone to school, it must be arranged with the parents beforehand. Phones are handed in to the supervisor each morning and must stay switched off during school hours. While we do our best, the school cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. To keep things fair and focused in class:1st timeThe phone takes a little break for 1 week – and we’ll chat with the learner.2nd time It gets a longer timeout – 2 weeks, plus another chat.3rd timeA full-month pause and a more serious conversation at a disciplinary hearing. All phones will be returned to parents directly. Thanks for helping us create a calm, focused learning space!
